Akinator the Web Genie asks a series of questions and from these questions can guess the name of any character given, no matter how obscure. This is a great way to see if student's have read the book and know about the characters because they need to know the answers to Akinator's Yes or No questions. Students (and teachers) will be amazed at Akinator's guessing ability. |

The program also has built-in safety features, including the option to set a time limit. In Herotopia, each child creates his/her own Superhero, chooses a special superpower and travels to cities around the world to play and learn. The site design is a map of Earth and users explore different locations and discover adventures. Players are introduced to foreign languages, geography, math and reading skills. Using their superpowers, they can defeat the Bully Bunch in a non-violent way while at the same time protecting the environment. |
Disney Fairies |
Pixie Hollow is free from third-party advertising and offers parental controls that allow parents to define a child's chat settings. Chat in Pixie Hollow is filtered and moderated by a staff of experienced moderators. To maintain a fun and Fairy-friendly environment, all Fairy players are encouraged to follow the "Pixie Code of Conduct". Limited versions of most games are free, but membership is required for full versions of the games. |

Learning Planet has great graphics and ease of access. It's super easy for anyone to navigate. The games are divided by age group and the categories go all the way to 7th grade +. Many of the games are math based and help to teach and reinforce the practical use of math and the concepts children need to know for school. This is all done in a fun and engaging way. |
